Artisteer Review

Point And Click Theme Generator Software

This is the ONLY theme generator out there that will create great looking themes for Wordpress, Drupal, Joomala, SiteStudio and just plain old html templete. Check out Artisteer Theme Generator Software Here

Best part is the cost is so minimal that you can just generate ONE site theme and this software will pay for itself.

First, I want to show a screen shot of how simple the 'output' option is to generate in this case below a 'drupal' theme.

Artisteer Theme Start Up

Select the CMS theme you need

When you start up the application you get a equally simple interface asking you what type of theme you wish to build - wordpress theme, drupal theme or joomla theme is basically what I use and have found the output of this software to be first class.

Sample Artisteer Random Theme

Ramdomly Genereated Theme

Right off the bat, once you select a CMS system that you need the theme for the Artister software compiles a randomly generated theme for you to get you started. From this point it is easy to make minor changes to fit your taste and if needed you can completely change the output as you get more comfortable using the software.

3 Click Drupal Theme

Yep, if you notice the screen shots above all you have done so far is open the application.

1) select theme type - drual in this case above

2) click export

3) save

And you have a drual theme as seen. Yep, it can be that simple. Of Course, you would want to style it for your needs but you can see the power of Artisteer now.

Artisteer Software Interface

The Artisteer team has done an excellent job of making the interface very user friendly - they have emulated the MS ribbon interface and I think that is a great idea because this makes the user more 'comfortable' as they are already familiar with how MS office works.

I've just started working with the demo but really like it. You can make lots of customizations and come up with some pretty good look themes. The full version is a little pricey but it could be worth it if you update your themes a lot.

thumbs down for sure. i design blogger blogs the old fashion way, html and bought artisteer thinking it would make my life easier. on the contrary, it has SO many bugs and i ended up working longer on my client's blogs fixing and mending all the problems. but now that i have a few clients with artisteer designs, i am forced to keep the program, now for the latest and greatest problem!!! Artisteer is now its erasing my designs entirely. i open a design, make changes, save it. reopen it and it had erased all my work and changed it to the default design.

it never ends with this program....

i DO not recommend this product.

I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience with Artisteer, but I can't say that I've found Artisteer doing what the above poster has described. My website is designed on Artisteer, it works fine, it allows modifications without fuss, it hasn't erased anything I've done, and if there is something on my design that isn't right it's because I overlooked it, and in that one respect Artisteer could be more intuitive in some of its fiddly choices. Aside from that it has done all that I've told it to do without fuss.

Same as MaryRC - I spend a ton of time making a design... save it, export it... then when I try to reopen it, none and I mean none of my edits are there... am I missing something? The program doesn't appear to work. Please help.

Pirated copies of Artisteer are known to reset all designs to the default. Make sure you have a legitimate copy of Artisteer and you should be fine. Artisteer works as promised. If a person charges money to design websites, how come they don't dish out the money to buy the product?

I worked with Artisteer and indeed has some attractive features but after trying them I realized it's not that flexible afterall. I prefer using Lubith for my WordPress site, it works faster, it's online and free and didn't give me any headaches. Plus, its selection/drag/resize tool is something I didn't see in any other theme generators.
